Hello,
In FAM 8.3, I followed the steps mentioned in below document

[https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/File-Access-Manager-Wiki/Change-the-Location-of-the-elasticsearch-Data-Temp-Directories/ta-p/74899](https://community.sailpoint.com/topic/74899)

,but when I restarted the Elastic Search Service after deleting old directory, the folders in the Data folder continued to be recreated, preventing the new data from being saved in the new location. In response, I updated the Elastic Search YML file as follows,

 ![Screenshot (254).png](https://cdck-file-uploads-global.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/sailpointsbx2/original/2X/b/b892f80a1e52d749f88d24fb013be123ab2aa309.png)

which successfully allowed the new data to be stored in the new location. However, I encountered an issue with the server installer, now i wanted to switch to the DR server, but the server installer can’t detect the Elastic Search Data folder. When attempting to save the configuration to activate the DR server, I encounter an error message stating ‘Invalid Path entered,’ and in the Path field, it displays only ’ \ ’ without the full path of the new DATA location or the old DATA location.

Please kindly suggest me the solution for this.

@hrushi23 ,

Do you still need assistance here ? If yes, this is something you might have to update the whiteops.system\_configuration\_value table to point the ES data path to an appropriate value.

@ranjith_koppu

Thank you for your help ! I Updated the data path using below query:

UPDATE whiteops.system\_configuration\_value SET value = ‘New Location’ WHERE name = ‘Elastic Search data path’;
