# How do we avoid same event trigger for the same identity

Hi Team,

I remember last time there was an entry key that we can enable from Refresh Identity Cube task to prevent same event trigger for identity but not able to find any paper on this. Anyone have any idea on this? Is there anything like&nbsp;checkActiveTrigger in refresh identity cube that we can enable.

I think the event trigger are based on the lifecycle events configuration. You may want to look at your LCE configuration and determine why the duplicate event is getting triggered. Identity Refresh task with process events option will trigger the events if they are eligible. If there are pending workflow case, IIQ will skip. To not skip the users with pending workflow, you can set this in your refresh task xml:

\<entry key=“noCheckPendingWorkflow” value=“true”/\>

If this is already turned on and you want to check the pending workflow, you may flip this to false or simple remove this entry from the refresh task.
