How To: Create a Signature
Forum signatures are an efficient way to automatically create a personalized message at the end of each post.
Accessing the Signature page
Edit your signature by clicking on your avatar in the upper right hand corner. Click on My settings, and then select Personal Information from the drop-down menu.
You can use HTML in the Signature text box. Once you completed your signature, your customized message will automatically appear at the below every single post and reply in the forum.
Share a favorite quote, your job title and company, or include helpful information. If you answer questions regularly, consider setting a signature that reminds other community members to give Kudos and Accept Solutions.
Example of a Forum Signature
As a Community Moderator, I find it useful to remind others to accept solutions, kudo forum posts, and view the Compass tutorials. Here is an example of my signature - “If someone resolved your question, accept their reply as a solution. You can also give kudos to replies to show your appreciation. Read the Compass How-to articles for more information about the community.”
When creating your signature, please be courteous of other community members, otherwise you may be reported to the moderator for inappropriate use of this feature.
