How To: Forums vs Wikis

The two most interactive spaces in Compass are the Forums and Wikis.

Have a question about a service or product? Interested in helping other members with their challenges? Visit the product forums to post a question or reply to a thread.

Watch the video How-to: Discussion Groups to learn about the forums.

View submitted content from other users and SailPoint employees in the Community Wiki. Find articles on a specific topic by searching for a term in the knowledge base, or by using the labels in the sidebar. You can give kudos and leave comments on wiki articles.

A simple way to delineate the two most interactive areas of compass is, if you have a question about your product, post it in the forum. If you want to read or write articles about a specific topic, visit the community wiki.

Visit the "How to post an article in the Community Wiki" guide in either the IdentityIQ wiki or the IdentityNow wiki to learn more about writing articles for the community.

Watch the video How-to: Searching to learn about the searching capabilities in Compass, or watch How-to: Labels and Tags for more information on how information is categorized in the community.
