Subscriptions overview

A SailPoint eLearning subscription provides on-demand access to all SailPoint training which includes both role-based and product training. This subscription model is designed to empower teams, foster career advancement, and support targeted skill development. With over 100 on-demand courses in our catalog, learners can engage with content that suits their role and interests.

Benefits of a subscription

  1. Unlimited Access: Enjoy unlimited access to all eLearning and QuickLearn courses throughout the subscription period. Courses can be retaken at any time, ensuring continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  2. Subscription Term: Subscriptions are available annually for individual users, with multi-year options providing additional flexibility and affordability. Multi-year subscriptions allow reassignment to new users at the start of each annual term.
  3. Flexibility: Access courses anytime, anywhere during your subscription period. If an individual leaves the organization, subscriptions can be repurposed as an exception or reassigned during a new term for multi-year plans.
  4. Continuous Learning: Watch and re-watch courses in the catalog to stay up to date with all new SailPoint releases and maintain expertise in the latest features and updates.

 

What's not included

SailPoint's on-demand courses are available with an active subscription. However, instructor-led classes and certification exams are not included. These are offered as a-la-carte options to complement your subscription and are available as additional purchases.

 

How to determine which courses are included

On our training paths, courses labeled as “on-demand” are included in the subscription. These on-demand courses are designed for flexibility and can either be eLearning modules or QuickLearn series.

Within Identity University, courses are categorized as eLearning or QuickLearns, and are color-coded for easy identification. On-demand content is outlined in GREEN and BLUE, while instructor-led courses are outlined in PINK.

How to check subscription availability

If you are unsure whether your organization has an active training subscription with open seats, reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM). They can confirm your organization’s subscription status and provide details about any available seats.

 

How to buy

Purchasing a SailPoint eLearning subscription is simple and flexible to suit your needs. You can choose from the following options:

  • Request a Quote:
    Email training-help@sailpoint.com to request a customized quote tailored to your team or individual training needs. This option is ideal if you:

    • Plan to purchase with a purchase order

    • Interested in multi-year subscription options for long-term access and planning

    • Require guidance to align training options with your specific goals.

  • Purchase Directly:
    Use a credit card to buy training subscriptions quickly and securely through Identity University. This option is best if you are:

    • Looking for self-serve, immediate purchase option

    • Looking for a one-year subscription only

 

How to get started with your subscription

First: How will I know I have a subscription provisioned to my training profile?

You will receive an email notification from identityuniversity_no_reply@sailpoint.com stating you have been granted an Identity University subscription. It will look like this:

Second: Now what do I do?

Please check out Identity University ICD to get started. This will give you the lay-of-the-land. Go ahead and bookmark your training profile homepage on Identity University and review our roles based training paths.

Third: What training do I enroll in?

Start here. Two options once you are on this page:

  1. Search by Training Paths based on job role.
  2. Search by product training.

Either way, review the path overview and related roles to determine if this training path is a proper fit for you based on your role. Each training path has a course outline highlighting the time required to complete each course and respective stage when we recommend completing a certification exam. As a reminder as part of your eLearning subscription you have access to all of our on-demand content, regardless of product.

Note: When you click on a course title, you will be directed to your training profile on Identity University.

Fourth: How do I enroll?

After you have clicked on the course title, you will be re-directed to your training profile on Identity University. Once there, you will click “Add to Cart” - once you add to cart, you will automatically be enrolled and can begin the training!

Once enrolled, you will have 90 days to complete the course. If you do not complete the course in 90 days, you will be marked unsuccessful and you can simply re-enroll in the course during your subscription term. Once enrolled, it will start at the beginning state and you will have another 90 days to complete the course.

 

How to check if subscription is assigned and how to review expiration date

From their learner dashboard, a user will see the subscription package in their Completed Learning tab. They will see the status within their subscription, the expiration date, and see when they're eligible for reacquisition (two weeks prior to their expiration date).
