Why am I being asked to sign back in to IdentityNow?

Why am I being asked to sign back in to IdentityNow?

If you're using an app that has some special security requirements, you might be required to sign in to IdentityNow before you can use those pages.

For example, if you need to e-sign a document, your company wants to be extra cautious that you are who you say you are before you can even see the e-signature page.

This behavior, known as forced authentication, is similar to strong authentication. The main difference is that while strong authentication uses a variety of verification methods, force authentication always requires you to sign back in to IdentityNow.

NOTE: If you usually don't see the sign in page, you'll probably need to use your network or Active Directory credentials to sign in.
