As we engage with the community, we naturally develop thoughts and opinions about how certain features and documents should function. Some feedback may be positive, others critical—but all of it is valuable. Your input helps guide important decisions and contributes to the community’s growth and improvement.
Sharing feedback is essential to enhancing the overall community experience. When submitting your thoughts, please aim to be as specific and constructive as possible.
This guide will walk you through how to share your feedback effectively within the community.
To get started, email your constructive suggestions, thoughts, and ideas to compass-help@sailpoint.com.
1. Select the article you want to provide feedback on. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit Content Feedback.
2. Complete the feedback form with as much detail as possible, then click Post.
Note: After you submit your feedback, a SailPoint representative will review it and make any necessary updates promptly.
When providing feedback on documentation, it's crucial to approach the task with a critical eye, focusing on the relevance, organization, and comprehensiveness of the content. Specific suggestions can help address gaps or clarify areas that lack detail. Identifying inconsistencies, errors, or ambiguities also contributes to improving the overall quality. Ultimately, thoughtful and constructive feedback supports the creation of clear, accurate materials that enhance the user experience by effectively communicating information.
This submission is a great example of constructive feedback, as the user is reporting a broken link in a specific article.
This submission is a question, not feedback, and would be better suited for SailPoint's product forums. To learn more about participating in the forums, please read the community tutorial, How to: Forums.
