Introduction

The Identity Security Leader Credential is designed to assess whether candidates have acquired the knowledge and skills covered in the courses of the Identity Security Leader path. This exam is meant for existing and emerging leaders in the identity security industry.

Exam Information

The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, including standard multiple-choice, matching, and true/false questions. The exam is online, open-book, and not proctored. The exam seat time is up to 45 minutes and you must complete the entire exam in one sitting (i.e., you cannot pause the exam nor save and continue). Upon exam submission, you will receive a Pass/Fail decision. There will be no exam fee for the first 3 exam attempts.

The exam will automatically end once you have answered enough questions correctly or incorrectly. Once you reach the threshold of correct or incorrect number of questions answered, you will automatically receive a pass or fail result. Therefore, you might complete your exam in less than 45 minutes. Please note that you cannot go back and change your answers once you submit a question. You will not be able to flag questions for further review.

Preparing for the Exam

To prepare for the exam, take all the courses in the Identity Security Leader path. The prerequisite to access the exam is completion of all courses in the learning path. We recommend re-taking courses and lessons until you have mastered the knowledge and skills taught. We encourage you to take notes as you are taking the courses in the learning path and have them available for the exam. However, please note that the exam does not simply test recall and is designed for you to apply and analyze concepts with their newly acquired knowledge.

The courses in the learning path are the study guide for this exam. Thus, there is no separate study guide. Review the Blueprint below for a detailed look into the concepts covered in the exam.

Score Report

At the end of the exam, you will receive a score report. This score report will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses on the exam content. The percentage displayed is the number of questions you answered correctly in that exam section. The lower the percentage, the more incorrect questions you answered on that topic. If you are re-taking the exam, use this score report to guide you on which courses to focus on.

Digital Badge

Upon successfully passing the exam, you will earn the Identity Security Leader credential, which will be awarded as a digital badge. You will be able to share your digital badge on your LinkedIn profile, where others can click on the badge and validate the certification’s validity and authenticity. Once earned, the knowledge credential is valid forever and never expires. You can expect to receive your badge within 24-48 hours upon successfully passing the exam. The badge will be delivered by email from Credly, so make sure your email provider does not block the following address: admin@credly.com.
