Identity Security Cloud is SailPoint's next-generation identity security solution. It encompasses and builds on features and functions from IdentityNow. The release notes cover both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityNow features.

IDN Provisioning

Administrators now have control over when new attribute sync configurations are applied to all accounts on the source, using a Sync button on the configuration page. Previously, this was held until the next automated sync, at 8am in the tenant’s local time.

IDN Provisioning

Administrators can now control when changes to the access model (roles, access profiles, applications) are applied to all identities. This promotes better system responsiveness and performance. Previously, changes were applied on a fixed schedule, by an 8pm nightly job, and the model was applied to all identities regardless of changes. IdentityNow now reprocesses all identities only when requested with this feature. Changed identities are automatically reprocessed as the changes occur.

When this feature is enabled in your production tenant, an Apply Changes button appears on the administrative Role and Access Profile list pages.

For best performance, when you are making multiple changes to the model, we recommend waiting to apply changes until a set is complete, such as at the end of the day, once you and your colleagues are prepared for all the changes to take effect.

Connectivity - LDAP

SailPoint is pleased to announce a new IdentityNow source for connecting to your LDAP server. For more information, see Integrating SailPoint with LDAP.

The Web Services source now properly updates the root path when invoking the setRootPath method when executing the before operation rules.

Cloud Access Management

CAM-16439

The CAM Changes page includes the following updates:

  • The Identity Source and Date Timestamp fields now display complete and accurate data.
  • The Date Timestamp field has been renamed to Change Detected to include a timestamp for when Cloud Access Management identified the change.
