Production release notes - November 18, 2024

Identity Security Cloud is SailPoint's next-generation identity security solution. It encompasses and builds on features and functions from IdentityNow. The release notes cover both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityNow features.

New features

SaaS Connectors - Microsoft Entra	The Microsoft Entra SaaS connector now supports managing Administrative Units as entitlements. For more information, refer to Administrative Units.
Identity Security Cloud	Helpdesk Admins can now reset an identity’s multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Identity Security Cloud	When selecting an identity from a dropdown list, inactive identities are filtered out on all pages except for the Update Correlation overlay of the Account Management UI.
Connectivity - RSA	The .jar files listed below have been upgraded to newer versions due to possible security vulnerabilities found in the existing versions. Identity Security Cloud - Top Secret LDAP	The TopSecret LDAP connector now supports the IBM z/OS 3.1 version.
SaaS Connectors - Microsoft Entra	The Microsoft Entra SaaS connector now supports delta aggregation for Mail Contacts.
Connectivity - LDAP	The Generic LDAP connector now supports aggregation and provisioning of additional group types when multiple group schemas are defined. For more information, refer to Group Attributes.
Connectivity - CyberArk-PCloud	SailPoint no longer supports the CyberArk Privilege Cloud connector as of this announcement. SailPoint recommends that existing CyberArk Privilege Cloud users create a new CyberArk Privilege Cloud Shared Services source type to continue connector operations.
SaaS Connectors - SAP HR/HCM	The SAP HR/HCM connector now supports SAP Secure Network Communications (SNC) as an optional form of authentication. SNC provides a more secure connection when used in place of user ID and password-based authentication.

Identity Security Cloud - Access Requests	SAASDOCS-7720 ISCARP-14816 UIAR-4898 SAASTRIAGE-3023	Fixed an issue where the comment requirements in an entitlement’s approval config were being ignored and only the global config was applied. Now, when there is an approval config for the entitlement, that determines the comment requirements. When there is no approval config for the entitlement, any source-level config for comment requirement is applied, followed by the global config if the source-level config doesn’t exist.
Connectivity - Microsoft Entra ID	CONETN-4944	The Microsoft Entra ID connector now supports adding or removing roles during enable or disable operations.
Connectivity - Microsoft Entra ID	CONETN-4942	The Microsoft Entra ID connector can now remove the manager of a user when the `Manager` attribute value is not included in the provisioning during a Set operation.
Connectivity - REST WebServices Connector	CONETN-4911	The Web Services connector no longer suppresses the original HTTP error messages from managed systems during provisioning operations.
