SaaS Release Notes - December 13, 2021
Release notes might contain references to new features, enhancements, and fixes that will be gradually turned on in production over the next several weeks.
Identity Security Cloud is SailPoint's next-generation identity security solution. It encompasses and builds on features and functions from IdentityNow. The release notes cover both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityNow features.
New features
No new features are included in this release.
Enhancements

IDN Password Manager | When a password update takes place on a source in a sync group, the name of that sync group is now displayed in the audit event. This field does not display if the source is not part of a sync group. |
IDN Access Request | Identities who are not part of a segment can now only request access to items that are also not included in any segments. Previously, an identity who was not part of a segment could request access to an item that was part of a defined segment. |
IDN Provisioning | Source icons are being deprecated. Users can no longer upload custom source icons, and icons that have already been uploaded will be removed in a future release. |
Platform | If you have configured IP and geographic restrictions for user sign-ins, those restrictions will be applied when a user uses a personal access token to generate an API authorization. This feature will be enabled for all environments in Q1 of 2022, or you can contact SailPoint to enable this feature now. |
