Access Request Status in IdentityNow

Hello everyone,

This one seems like an easy one, but have been struggling to find the right answer.

As an IdentityNow admin, how does one look at an access request and figure out who it is pending with?

I know its easy from the APIs, but trying to document a process for others who do not have API knowledge to easily look this up from the UI.

Search queries used:

1. Simply searching with the username > Account Activity tab. Doesnt even show that the user requested for. Only show if the user approver other requests.

2. Searching with username, but analyzing events, while it might show something to a trained eye, it doesnt help either.

3. Searching with the user’s Display name. Shows the access request submitted. Not absolutely nothing else. (See screenshot)

I know i can figure out what was requested and look at the approval model. But that does not seem right for such a simple task.

I am either looking at this the wrong way OR there is not functionality at all to view this info easily. (from the UI)

Thanks,

Jatin

Jatin, I’m also not aware of any other way to see this Access Request information in the GUI.

It appears this capability has been requested in theSailPoint Ideas Portal where its status is Future Consideration: The status ofFuture Consideration denotes that our team understands the Idea at a high level and agrees there is value to this request, but it is not something we are working towards at this time. We will continue to monitor additional votes as well as additional use cases added to this idea in the form of Comments."

I’d encourage you to check it out, and if that’s what you’re looking for - upvote accordingly!

Appreciate the response. Kinda disappointed that there is no easy way.
But thank you for pointing me to the Idea. Upvoted it.
