We are facing issue in SailPoint where access requests for the entitlements/roles are not getting completed. Once the access requests are approved by manager/owners, the entitlements are not getting provisioned as per the SailPoint automated process and gets stuck at waiting state. When we click on access request details, it shows stuck at ‘Approve and Provision Split’ step and there are no errors displayed in the access request.
Can you try running the Perform Maintenance task and check if it gets executed after running the task?
Also, can you confirm if you’re using the default LCM Provisioning workflow for provisioning or is it a customized workflow.
We are using a custom workflow. I have tried running the Perform Maintenance task but for us the request is showing as completed even before taking action on workitem approval. This started happening recently after upgrade to 8.3.
I suggest you check the approval configurations, possibly the upgrade also updated the workflows which you’re using.
Also, Possibly the workflow is getting stuck at Approve and Split Provision because the Perform Maintenance task (which is supposed to be running every 5 minutes) is not scheduled.
We have our Perform maintenance task scheduled to run every 5 mins. The issue is that even though the approval action is not taken yet, it’s marking the identity request as complete.
