Accounts aggregation of JDBC apps fail sporadically

Hello

We are on 8.1p3 and have bunch of apps configured, aggregating accounts from SQL Server databases, using integrated authentication. The challenge is, aggregation of these apps fail sporadically but not always. I tried updating the jdbc-sql driver but it did not resolve the issue. I’m puzzled why it works on some days and fails on others. Any clue?

This is the error we get:

Exception during aggregation of Object Type account on Application XYZ. Reason: Unable to create iterator sailpoint.connector.ConnectorException: [ ConnectorException ] [ Error details ] The server encountered an unexpected error while contacting target system. Please check the logs. Failure trying to get a pooled connection to [jdbc:sqlserver://servername:1433;databaseName=xyz;integratedSecurity=true] com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: This driver is not configured for integrated authentication. ClientConnectionId:9999

Thanks Kalyan. We are using tomcat on a Windows server and the link you shared is not addressing the same issue. Also, the aggregation task is NOT always failing, it runs daily and succeeds on some of the days and fails on others.

A few things to check:

1. Are all IIQ task servers in synch in terms of same version of library and driver jar?

2. Anything visible in MS SQL server side on authentication when the task fails and diff in logs between success vs failed

3. If the AA succeeds with Windows Integrated Auth enabled and answer to q1 is positive, then we can rule out any issue at the IIQ configuration side. Then something between IIQ and MSSQL or MSSQL and AD causing the issue. Logs at the n/w level or DB level should help you to debug.
