Automate a daily SailPoint ISC health check report

We currently generate a daily health check report for our SailPoint ISC prod environment manually via Excel, covering platform health, connector status, provisioning activity, workflow execution, and identity metrics.

We are looking to automate this report end to end, including data extraction, report generation, and daily email distribution.

We need guidance on the best practice approach using SailPoint APIs, workflows, scheduled searches, or other native capabilities. Specifically, we want to confirm the recommended architecture, required endpoints for key metrics, and any native features that can simplify or support this automation.

After looking at that report, I think you can get all that info and more using api calls. The key endpoint you’re going to use is POST Perform search this endpoint can now retrieve workflow history as well as your identity governance requirements. You can leverage Harbor Pilot to help you write the search queries that you’ll use in the request body of the call. Let me know if you need any other assistance!

You can totally generate a report like this using API, I have create a very similar report in the past, if you are running into any issue, let us know so that we can help.
