We would like to automate the download of a report in Sailpoint IdentityNow and send it to a client using FTP (Sterling). I see from the forums that you can schedule an email to be sent with a report but was not sure if there was other options like powershell or CLI on linux. We need the report to be in a CSV format.
depending on what report you want you would likely need to employ the v3 Search API calls imbedded into a Powershell (or Ruby or whatever) script and then schedule the script to run. The script would need to get a JWT token, run the Search API call containing the syntax that will garner what you are needing and then save that data as a csv file and email it to your recipients.
Thanks for the reply. I was trying to find the example I saw early for the powershell and Certification report. It looked like it had a commandlet that would run the certification reports and then let you download them and convert it to cvs.
