This is a good question. IdN will auto translate inside the app, but I think the emails come out as typed.
I remember in my IIQ instance we had to have a big email with both french and english. I’m not sure if we even tried to get it to work.
I should have to have done this for my current IdN, but nobody has said anything so it hasn’t been addressed.
I know IdN just uses the template, but I can’t see a patch or put to update the body tag on the notification template.
While typing this I did think of a hackey way to do it.
you could try writing a transform that based on language, it populates the email with the translated text.
so instead of the normal text in the email body::
"
Hello $identity.managerFullName
The request for login account for the following user is completed:
First Name: $identity.firstname
Last Name: $identity.lastname …
"
you would make a transform that based on the language it displays the email in their language, and the body would be::
"
$identity.noticeInLanguage
"
problem is, it would be per notice.
I don’t know if you could write an if statement into the body that if lang=Fr it just shows the french version.. I don’t code, sorry I can’t be of more help with that.
It’s hard coded and per default, it will come out in English. I know that, in IIQ however, you could change the email template to whatever you wanted via the debug page.
