Data Layer between the authoritative sources and the IGA tool

Hi Everyone, Has anyone used Radiant Logic as a layer before feeding data into an IGA solution
Any insights on what it’s good at vs where it falls short would be really helpful.

Currently, the client has an in‑house ETL/IDW layer between the authoritative sources and the IGA tool, and they are evaluating whether this can be replaced with Radiant Logic ?

Thanks,

@skohli  Not specifically Radiant, but we had a similar setup where the client had a Database/Table as a proxy auth system. There was a separate sync between Auth app and DB and it takes care of figuring out what events needs to be triggered. IIQ was reading the details from the DB and used it as an auth apps.

So, technically having a proxy between IIQ and HR apps is feasible. It actually help you ship some of the data sanitisation and threshold evaluation out of IIQ, keeping the HR integration light.

If Radiant exposes API or DB options then you can connect with IIQ. If you have any specific queries, feel free to ask.

If the client’s current ETL layer is becoming a bottleneck—either due to slow sync times, frequent failures during source schema changes, or difficulty in onboarding new sources—Radiant Logic is a very strong replacement. It acts as an “Identity Data Fabric” that makes SailPoint much more efficient by feeding it “clean” data.

Hope this helps with the evaluation!

Thank you @DanishInSailpoint @neel193  for the response.

Based on your responses and my research, data sanitization and normalization can be handled by Radiant Logic, similar to what the current IDW does today. I also agree that having a dedicated data layer can reduce the workload on the IGA system by providing cleaner data with fewer errors; however, one consequence is a delayed processing timeline within the IGA system.

One existing use case today is the creation of a ServiceNow (SNOW) ticket when issues are identified while loading data into the IDW from multiple authoritative sources (Employees, Contractors, Vendors). The impacted data is filtered or held until the issue is resolved by the respective application team.

Does Radiant Logic provide similar capabilities?

@skohli You might want to reach out to Radiant Logic to understand their capabilities. They would be better team to help you out.
