Does SailPoint Add-On Support SAP NetWeaver 7.50 with ECC 6.0 EHP8?

Hello,

We are currently working on extracting indirect entitlements from our SAP applications into SailPoint IIQ. While reviewing the vendor documentation, we noted that the function module /SAILPOIN/SAIL_READ_TABLE is stated to support SAP BASIS 7.51 and later.

However, our environment is currently running:

  • SAP ERP Central Component 6.0

  • On SAP NetWeaver 7.50 (SAP BASIS 7.50, SP31)

  • Not on SAP NetWeaver 7.51

    The “Supported Managed Systems” section mentions:

    • SAP NetWeaver 7.51 and above

    • SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with EHP8

      Our question is:

      Is SAP ERP ECC 6.0 EHP8 alone sufficient for compatibility, even if it is running on SAP NetWeaver 7.50 (BASIS 750 SP31)?

      In other words, can you please confirm whether the Add-On is officially supported on SAP BASIS 7.50 SP31?

@Bhumi22 I think it’s a no. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 EHP8 on SAP BASIS 750 is not sufficient for the standard /SAILPOIN/SAIL_READ_TABLE function module. But I would recommend raising a ticket to get the confirmation from Sailpoint for any version support (outside of the documention). In that way, you’ll have the Sailpoint support available for any changes you are making.

Somewhere there was a note:

Add this permission to use SailPoint’s Function Module instead of RFC_READ_TABLE if your SAP_BASIS version is 740, Support Package 08, up to BASIS 750.

Could you please confirm before we proceed with SailPoint ticket route?
