Error in "Native Identity Change Propagation" task while terminating identity or revive

I am currently facing issue in one of my local Sailpoint environments. When terminating an identity and the DN is being moved from one distinguishedName to another, the task “Native Identity Change Propagation” gets failed.

Task failure error:
An unexpected error occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke “sailpoint.object.TaskDefinition.getType()” because “taskDef” is null

I am not sure what is causing this issue. Looking for help if someone has faced the same issue and fixed it.

Sailpoint IIQ version: 8.4p2

@furqanshahid

Can you check to see if you have a task/TaskDefinition for “Refresh Identity Cube Concurrent” in this environment?

When the configuration “Enable Native Identity Change Event propagation” is enabled, a change to an Active Directory DN triggers the following tasks:

- Native Identity Change Propagation Request for Account

- Identity Refresh Request : Native Identity Change Propagation Request for Account

If the NativeIdentityChangeEvent object remains in a Processing state, verify that the Identity Refresh Request is being triggered successfully and completes without errors in the task results. If the Identity Refresh Request is missing, review the Task Definition to ensure that an Identity Refresh task is present with “Allow Concurrency” checked.

@furqanshahid Task name is blank in the screenshot, it is unusual. Could you please reimport the task and see if it works?
