I just joined Compass, so let me quickly introduce myself.
I work as a freelance IAM- and GRC-architect, concentrating on implementing regulatory requirements and meta-data based SoD, for which I have developed a methodology (EDA - Enterprise Domain Notation) on how to do SoD on a business process basis using Functional Taxonomy as defined by the Banking Industry Architecture Network (bian.org).

To begin your SailPoint journey, I recommend taking a look at the community events, and the IdentityIQ and IdentityNow wiki boards. The events board has a list of upcoming webinars that can be viewed on demand or you can register for when those become available. The IdentityIQ and IdentityNow wikis cover a wide range of topics such as best practices for configuring connectors, roles, APIs, and much, much more.
