How to use type="sailpoint.persistence.XmlType" in hbm file

I have a requirement to create an extended attribute for certificationitem object and that column will contain huge data so I am trying to add below property in CertificationItemExtended.hbm file but I am getting error while executing iiq extendedSchemacommand in iiq console.

<property name=“propertyName” type=“sailpoint.persistence.XmlType” length=“100000000”/>

ERROR: Extended Property[propertyName] for class[CertificationItem] is not of type string

I have tried by changing the type as string like below and able to generate the DDL script but when I am trying to update the DB, I am getting below error:,

<property name=“propertyName” type=“string” length=“100000000”
access=“sailpoint.persistence.ExtendedPropertyAccessor”/>

ERROR: Column length too big for column ‘propertyName’ (max = 16383); use BLOB or TEXT instead

I need help to know if I am missing anything.

I don’t think that is supported.  Managing Extended Attributes  doc clearly says that extended attributes must be string.

My issue has been resolved by using string type property and in ddl script, we changed the type from varchar to longtext.
