Index length exceeds maximum length of 1700 bytes for non-clustered indexes

Currently, in IIQ, we have an extended identity attribute named sections. An index is assigned to the column as well.

<property name=“sections” type=“string” access=“sailpoint.persistence.ExtendedPropertyAccessor” index=“spt_identity_sections_ci” length=“1000”/>

One particular user had a large value for this column. During identity refresh, it is throwing the following error:

Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Operation failed. The index entry of length 1716 bytes for the index ‘spt_identity_sections_ci’ exceeds the maximum length of 1700 bytes for nonclustered indexes.

Could you please let me know if you have any solution?

Hi  @reshmi_sajeesh  … did u find solution, we are getting same error

@reshmi_sajeesh  We have to increase the size or have it shortened if it exceeds the Max Characters.
