I am new into identity now, just wanted to check with you guys that how should I start my journey as many of you might be working on this. Please help in letting me know that from where and how should I start. what are the pre-requisite to learn in effective way, what are the major things we gonna use for development and let me know resources as well to learn effectively.

I’d also take a look around and explore this and other forums at https://community.sailpoint.com as there is a wealth of information discussed - not only technical but also at higher levels of identity security. And if you are deeply technical, https://developer.sailpoint.com has a gold mine of info about API calls for IdentityNow, and also IdentityIQ.
Last but certainly not least, you’ll probably want to explore the SailPoint documentation available at https://documentation.sailpoint.com where you’ll find a boatload of helpful product info.
