We have integrated Workday with SailPoint ISC and configured delta aggregation to capture changes efficiently. However, we have observed that delta aggregation is not fetching some of the newly created accounts from Workday.
Could you please help in understanding the limitations or constraints of delta aggregation in ISC with respect to newly created accounts? Additionally, are there recommended best practices or troubleshooting steps to ensure all new accounts are consistently captured during aggregation?
We had this behaviour with the SaaS connector for workday. One of the important attributes for lifecycle state would not update if it was updated in a specific way (like for immediate terminations) but was working in delta aggregation for normal terminations, and it would not flip unless we did a full aggregation.
because we can’t keep switching it from delta to standard just because, we run full aggregations.
it’s the worst.
support wasn’t able to provide a reason why it isn’t being picked up. since I can’t trust delta aggregation to actually update so we remain compliant, I have to have a 50 000 user full aggregation every day.
if you’re using workday, I’d suggest the sql loader tool and getting a csv extract from workday. infinitely faster. only problem is that ccg is failing randomly for us in the VA when it tries to aggregate, we do not have a resolution for from sailpoint yet, so it is pretty frustrating
