I need assistance in creating a workflow that triggers when the Lifecycle State (LCS) changes from OnLeave to Active.
The query I’m using works correctly, but I want the workflow to send an email immediately upon the state change, rather than on a scheduled basis. I’m having difficulty adding an if-else condition to handle the LCS change logic.
type:provisioning AND operation:CHANGE AND _exists_:info.“newState:active previousState:onleave” AND created:[now-48h TO now] AND name:“Change Identity State Passed”
Specifically you’ll want to look at the “Identity Attribute Changed” trigger, with a filter on the cloudLifecycleState attribute. Then you could perform a few conditional tests to make sure the oldValue of cloudLifecycleState is OnLeave and the newValue is Active. That way you aren’t sending emails for other LCS transitions.
Or, if you want something very quick that does not discriminate on how the identity came to be active, you can set up email notifications in the authoritative source’s identity profile under the active lcs.
