SailPoint ISC – AD Single Account Aggregation Failure (“The account could not be aggregated” Error)

We are facing an issue in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) related to Single Account Aggregation for the Active Directory (AD) source.

  • Full AD aggregation is executing successfully without any issues.
  • However, single account aggregation consistently fails for every account tested.
  • The following error is observed:
“Error! The account could not be aggregated. Try again.”

Observations:

  • The issue occurs for all accounts, indicating it is not user-specific.
  • Since full aggregation works fine:
    • AD connectivity appears to be healthy
    • Source configuration seems correct at a broader level

Impact:

  • Unable to perform targeted account-level aggregation
  • Troubleshooting and validation of individual identities is currently blocked

Request:

Could you please help investigate and confirm the root cause for this behavior in SailPoint ISC and provide guidance on resolution?

:white_check_mark: (If you want to add technical context – optional)

  • Platform: SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)

  • Source: Active Directory

  • Aggregation Type: Single Account Aggregation

  • Full Aggregation: Successful

ERROR : Error! The account could not be aggregated. Try again.
