We are trying to delete accounts on SAP HANA source, When the lifecycle state is set ISC deletes the account from SAilpoint and it doesn’t come in aggregation also, but when we check on the actual application the account is still there. DO anybody have any idea, how to fix this.
I’m having the same issue, the account deletion event appears, but on the next aggregation the account comes back and is not deleted from the database.
It returns through the SAP HANA connector as disabled and with its expiration date set to the same day it was deleted.
Hi, the documentation for the SAP HANA connector says that it supports the delete operation, but in my case, when I perform a delete, it is actually disabling the account instead of deleting it. And the connector is VA‑based as well. Do you know why this might be happening?
@Amsingh1 , I saw you opened a support ticket to receive extra help on this issue. Please update us with the solution you end up finding together with support.
Yes, it was with the lifecycle state as well. And this issue only happened with the SAP HANA connector, the SAP Direct connector deleted the account during the operation.
Have you tried using the Delete Account API endpoint to see if the connector is behaving correctly when sent the delete request directly (without relying on the lifecycle state triggering it). https://developer.sailpoint.com/docs/api/v2025/delete-account/
I tested it and it didn’t work, but there is a note in the API documentation saying:
‘NOTE: You can only delete accounts from sources of the “DelimitedFile” type.’
