I am looking for a way to search identities that have a space in the first name attribute, or any attribute. Since SailPoint doesn’t support an endsWith function in search I have not had any success in finding these annoying little ghosts in our system. If anyone has any tips or tricks on how to find spaces at the end of an Identity attribute is ISC, please share them!

If you are working in the ISC search function, it is built on ElasticSearch, which can use Regex for searching. One search query that might help you find names with spaces at the end is:
firstName.exact:/.* .*/
I tested in my demo tenant and it seemed to pick up on them. You could change firstName to lastName as well if you were trying to find spaces there too.
Additionally, if you want to work on trying to prevent spaces on the end for future data, you can apply a transform to the data in the Identity profile, using the Trim operation (documentation linked here)
I have tried this search query, and it does not return any results except those accounts that have a 2-part first name like “Gloria Jean”. It is not returning any results like "Gloria ". I can very clearly see the accounts with the space at the end of the first name if I look them up directly, but the searches don’t return anything. Even trying to direct query using the API, it’s like the search is sanatizing the results.
We have ended up going forward with a transform to Trim() the whitespace on First_Name, but it would have been nice to be able to find all of them so we could let our HR team know to correct the data at the source.
Because standard tokenizers break strings into words, the best trick is to use an expression that forces the engine to look at the very end of the string.
