Special characters in RACF Group Names

Hi experts,

We are using the “RACF - Full” connector and when aggregating groups, special characters become #.
example:
group in the targer system(RACF) → ESPAÑOL
group/entitlement in IdentityIQ → ESPA#OL

we aready have this configuration:

  • Application/Source xml: <entry key=“IBMcharacterSet” value=“IBM1047”/>
  • Connector Gateway: <characterSet>IBM1047</characterSet>
  • Mainframe Host Code Page: 1047

Can anyone help us?

I am checking with the mainframe engineering team on this so give them a chance to review this issue and respond here.

Hi Ricardo,
You need to update IBM1047 with IBM284 at all 3 places.

  • Application/Source xml: <entry key=“IBMcharacterSet” value=“IBM1047”/>
  • Connector Gateway: <characterSet>IBM1047</characterSet>
  • Mainframe Host Code Page: 1047
