Tomcat 9.0.x end of support

Hello,
As tomcat 9.0.x is going out of support, and Apache Tomcat 9.0 is the only Tomcat version supported for 8.5 per the Supported Platforms Matrix. Can we safely assume that IIQ version 9.0 will address this and add support for a “newer” major tomcat version?
