Unable to do test connection for web service connector

We have upgraded Java version from 1.8 to 17 & tomcat 8.5 to 9. In older version web service test connection is working fine. After upgrade we are facing issue with test connection. Below is the error:

class connector.common.XmlUtil (in unnamed module @0x3d60090) cannot access class com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl (in module java.xml) because module java.xml does not export com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp to unnamed module @0x3d60090

@devema001  I assume the error is coming from the JDK Version Upgrade which you have Performed.

Yes, this is JDK version issue. I thought JDK 17 is allowed for web service connector. But not sure why it is throwing error. do we have to add any jar files to avoid that issue

BTW we are using SailPoint 8.3 version

I have the same proble with WS test connection JDK 17, IIQ 8.3, Tomcat 9

My solution was add two lines to app server :

--add-exports=java.naming/com.sun.jndi.ldap=ALL-UNNAMED
--add-exports=java.xml/com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp=ALL-UNNAMED
