I’m currently running the upgrade from 8.3 to 8.4. After starting the upgrade, the screen is now blank and when I hit refresh I get this -
UpgradeErrors.png
Not sure where to go from here, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Did you try closing the admin client and launching it again? Most likely, the UI service was upgraded and now the client needs to be upgraded too. When you launch the client again, it might prompt you to upgrade itself. Make sure the User Interface service is up and running.
Hi @Sneha_Agrawal - closed the client and reopened. That fixed the blank screen issue, thank you very much. Now I have an error on the RabbitMQ upgrade. Hopefully you or someone can help with this as well!
This is what is in the log -
Unable to execute ‘>“C:\Program Files\erl9.2\erts-9.2\bin\epmd.exe” -kill’ result code was ‘1’ ErrorMessage ‘’
I see on the server that RabbitMQ is installing to, that the folder ‘C:\Program Files\erl9.2\erts-9.2’ is there.
I also see a folder with todays date ‘C:\Program Files\erl-24.3.2’
That folder only has one file - ‘“C:\Program Files\erl-24.3.2\erts-12.3\bin\epmd.exe”’
Any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks again.
The folders and files are fine. Can you confirm you had RabbitMQ installed before the upgrade to 8.4 was launched?
You can maybe retry the upgrade of RabbitMQ and monitor the progress in the logs at this (or similar) path C:\Program Files\SailPoint\Logs\Upgrade\3.9.14
Hello,
RabbitMQ has been installed and running for a long time. I see an error in the log you specified.

It looks like the install is looking for ‘FileAccessManager-rabbitmq-service’, but on our system the service is called ‘securityiq-rabbitmq-service’.
Is there some way we can tell the upgrade the actual name of the service to upgrade?
Thanks again!
Ah, I would recommend logging a support ticket so the team can look into this. I am assuming your environment is being upgraded from an old version of FAM, when it was called SecurityIQ.
Will do, thanks for all the help!
