NEW: SailPoint® application onboarding: AI-powered Lifecycle Management for Applications

SailPoint® application onboarding is a lifecycle management capability for enterprise applications that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to easily discover and connect, configure and manage access to ungoverned enterprise applications.

Available now for SailPoint Business and Business Plus customers, this release includes the ability to discover ungoverned applications and automated, AI-powered account correlation to map users’ identities to the application accounts they can access.  

Discover ungoverned applications
Customers can choose from two ways to discover ungoverned enterprise applications for complete visibility and flexibility in how teams plan to onboard applications to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud:

• Via SSO – Okta: SailPoint application onboarding can connect to Okta via established connectors, discover applications, and consolidate the results in a “discovered applications” repository.
• Via manual uploads: Organizations can use the manual CSV file upload method to list down and upload all applications that require identity governance.

Automated, AI-powered account correlation

This new capability uses automated, AI-driven guidance and recommendations to give SailPoint administrators within your organization the ability to easily map accounts to identities and correlate accounts to the source system/application.

Automated account correlation also helps speed up the onboarding process. Our research shows that most of our customers spend most of their time at this stage to achieve 100% correlated accounts. (Note: SailPoint Identity Security Cloud cannot govern uncorrelated accounts).

We also deliver results based on AI recommendations and your own expert input and preferences (when provided) to help validate configurations before finalizing, giving you the ability to quickly adjust necessary configurations to your specifications.
