The SailPoint Snowflake SaaS connector now supports the discovery of Snowflake Cortex Agents!

Snowflake Cortex Agents are AI-powered assistants within the Snowflake Data Cloud that use Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate complex data tasks, answer questions in natural language, and generate insights from both structured and unstructured data, all while using your enterprise data securely. They function as reasoning systems, planning multi-step actions, using tools like SQL (Cortex Analyst) and search (Cortex Search), and delivering results directly in workflows.

SailPoint Agent Identity Security provides the capability to discover and govern all the Snowflake Cortex AI Agents.

High-Level Capabilities

• Discovery of Snowflake Cortex Agents

  • Owner role of the agent.
  • The associated roles for the agent.
  • Profile details of agent.
