SailPoint Connectivity is pleased to announce a few of the exciting and impactful releases for the first quarter of 2024. These integrations reflect an effective balance between innovative new connectivity and improvements to existing connectivity.
What’s new?
New integrations immediately available on Identity Security Cloud include Guidewire, a leading P&C (property and casualty) insurance platform; SAP Analytics Cloud, and Ceridian DayForce, a leading Human Capital Management (HCM) solution.
In response to customer demand, we have also introduced a credential provider integration for CyberArk Shared Services with Conjur Cloud that eliminates the need to manually cycle credentials for the service accounts through which connectivity to customer applications is achieved.
SailPoint has also added more options for direct SaaS-to-SaaS connectivity for many supported cloud applications that previously used only virtual appliance (VA)-based connectivity.
Finally, not to be overlooked is the body of work on enhancements to current connectivity that SailPoint’s Connectivity Engineering team took on in Q1. Each quarter, the team delivers a multitude of customer-requested enhancements for in-market connectivity for both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityIQ. Connectivity enhancements for Q 1 included SAP GRC, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, UKG Pro, and the Web Services connector.
Details: New connectivity
Our Q1 connectivity focused on several key areas, including the continued expansion of Identity Security Cloud SaaS connectivity for key customer cloud applications; a new vertical integration for the property & casualty (P&C) industry; expanded connectivity for SAP cloud applications; new HCM connectivity; and a new credential provider integration.
- SaaS connectivity: SailPoint is committed to eliminating VA requirements to connect and integrate with the cloud applications for which customers need to secure access. We are announcing SaaS connectivity to an additional 11 applications in Q1, including Okta, Google Workspace, Workday accounts, and Microsoft Entra ID, among others.
- New P&C vertical integration: SailPoint’s new Guidewire PolicyCenter integration is provides core identity security capabilities for key insurance, banking, and financial service applications. Guidewire PolicyCenter is the first in a series of integrations scheduled for release over the next quarter for the Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud. SailPoint’s PolicyCenter integration provides secure connectivity and deep governance for Policy Center users. Integration capabilities include aggregation and user account lifecycle management, including the management of entitlements (Group, Role, and Underwriting Authority Profile) for accounts.
- Expanded SAP Cloud application connectivity: SAP Analytics Cloud allows users to perform advanced analytics, create interactive dashboards, and generate reports from various data sources. The SailPoint/SAP Analytics Cloud integration lets SailPoint Identity Security Cloud customers effectively manage access and entitlements -- effectively enabling and automating full identity governance use cases for SAP Analytics Cloud. Capabilities include user on- and offboarding; ability to assign and remove entitlements for roles and groups; and perform access certifications. This new integration is both flexible and extensible to meet customer-specific use cases that leverage SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) and supplemental API support.
- New HCM connectivity: SailPoint continues to deliver connectivity solutions for leading authoritative sources of identity. Ceridian Dayforce is a comprehensive HCM system that covers the entire employee lifecycle, including HR, payroll, benefits, talent management, workforce management, and services. The new SaaS connector for Identity Security Cloud extends core identity security to the Ceridian cloud platform —no VA required.
- Credential provider integration/CyberArk Shared Services with Conjur Cloud: This new Q1 integration eliminates the need to manually cycle connector service account credentials in Identity Security Cloud. Credential rotation involves regularly changing and updating credentials to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. The ability to regularly rotate credentials means that organizations can limit the window of opportunity for attackers to exploit compromised credentials. This new credential provider integration for CyberArk Shared Services with Conjur Cloud eliminates the manual credential cycling processes that are often prone to error and omission for SailPoint Identity Security Cloud customers—automatically ensuring the use of new, secure credentials from Privilege Access Management (PAM) systems.
