Why is IdentityNow telling me that my password change for this app was not attempted?

    If your administrator has configured a password sync group for your apps, when you change the password for one app launcher, the password might change automatically for some associated sources and app launchers on your Launchpad.

     

    If IdentityNow tries and fails to change the password of the source that IdentityNow uses for its user name and password, it automatically cancels the password change for the app launchers associated with it. This way, the passwords in that sync group do not get out of sync.

     

    In cases like these, IdentityNow notifies you that it did not attempt to change the password for those app launchers.
