For IdentityIQ, bring conversational AI to on-premise and air-gapped deployments: replace BeanShell scripts and weeks-long report cycles with instant natural language queries. All agents operate through your existing SailPoint APIs with zero schema changes.
It does three things relevant to this integration:
- Ingests an OpenAPI specification and treats its endpoints as a catalog of callable tools.
- Generates MCP servers and A2A agents automatically from that catalog, with logical grouping based on the spec's tags and paths.
- Routes natural language requests through an orchestrator that selects the right agent, the right tool, and the right API call, then returns a synthesized answer.
The procedure applies to both SailPoint deployment modes:
- SailPoint IdentityIQ (on-premises), v8.3 or a compatible release. The OpenAPI specification is used without modification, preserving full fidelity with the supported API contract.
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), v2025. The full ISC surface, approximately 820 endpoints, has been rationalized and streamlined to align with IIQ functionality.
