How it works
SailPoint certifications are active for two years.
Instead of retaking a SailPoint certification exam, the SailPoint recertification program allows you to earn recertification credits to extend your certification for an additional two years, with a $200 USD recertification fee.
How to earn recertification credits
Recertification credits are awarded after completing qualifying SailPoint educational activities, contributing to the SailPoint Community, and SailPoint-specific projects.
Individuals are required to obtain 80 total recertification credits prior to being eligible. SailPoint education credits and contributions to the SailPoint Community are automatically tracked for you. The number of hours is based off a 2-year period and can only be used to renew one certification exam within a 4-year timeframe.
Project hours need to be submitted and are all individually verified by the SailPoint team. When submitting project hours, please select the SailPoint Certification Program as the request type and the Recertification Program Project Hours as the certification program request type. The form will populate required fields including the contact information of the manager or customer for whom you worked on the project with or for.
