• What happens after I complete a Knowledge Credential or Certification exam? 
  • Upon successfully passing either of the exams, you will be awarded a digital badge through Identity University. You will be able to share your digital badge on your LinkedIn profile, where others can click on the badge and validate your credential’s validity and authenticity.  
• Who can take an exam at SailPoint? 
  • For the Identity Security Leader credential, ANYONE can take this exam. 
  • For all other SailPoint exams, you must be a current customer or partner with SailPoint 
• Do I have to have a subscription to take a Knowledge Credential exam? 
  • Yes, the exam is unlocked upon completion of the training path in Identity University. You will need to obtain a subscription to have access to all the training in order to unlock the exam. 
• Do I have to have a subscription to take a Professional Certification exam?
  • No, you can purchase the exams using credit card or training units.
• How can I take the exam? 
  • Both the Knowledge Credential and Certification exams can be taken at home, virtually. 
• Is there practice exams for Knowledge Credentials? 
  • No, we do not offer exams as the content is all available in the required training. The training courses provide several knowledge checks throughout to help test your understanding and comprehension of the training 
• What is the scoring on exams? 
  • We only provide pass/fail scoring. At the end of the exam, you will receive a score report. This score report will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses on the exam content. The percentage displayed is the number of questions you answered correctly in that exam section. The lower the percentage, the more incorrect questions you answered on that topic. If you are re-taking the exam, use this score report to guide you on which domains and objectives to focus on. You will also be able to print or email the score report. 
• What exam study resources are available? 
  • We provide Exam Prep Guides for each exam that goes into detail of that specific exam and how to prepare. Each Exam Prep Guide has an exam blueprint that covers the specific sections and objectives you will be tested on. 
• What is a training subscription and how do I obtain one?

• What do I do if I already obtain the IdentityNow Professional Certification 
  • Please reference this FAQ for more information. 
• What do I do if I am already registered for the IdentityNow Professional certification?

• What do I do if I already obtain the IdentityNow Engineer Certification? 
  • As this exam expires after 2 years, you can wait for it to expire and re-certify or purchase the new exam and obtain both certifications.
