New application onboarding capabilities

Applying enterprise identity security to the applications and systems you use most is the first step to identity security success. SailPoint AI-powered application onboarding for Identity Security Cloud has continued to evolve since its introduction last spring with stronger, more intuitive features, including:

• The ability to discover ungoverned applications with Microsoft EntraID and PingOne – in addition to Okta – to give you more choices for SSO discovery and help you quickly identify onboarded versus non-onboarded applications.
• The ability to control AI choices and set recommendation levels for correlation and account creation processes.
• The ability to sync account attributes, calculate sync rate percentages, and preview results for more efficient provisioning operations

More options to discover ungoverned applications

Enterprise application deployments for identity security are constantly changing​ and it’s a challenge to ensure governance for every application. For example, when organizations organizational business needs require the introduction of new applications, organizations must ensure those are also governed. 

We now offer Microsoft EntraID or PingOne for SSO application discovery, in addition to Okta SSO. Organizations can also use a manual upload option with a CSV file to find ungoverned applications, such as those waiting in an IT backlog.

More control over AI choices

Every organization has unique business processes, policies, and data requirements. And each system possesses a varying degree of data that requires custom treatment when AI models produce recommendations that adhere to strict thresholds – which can sometimes lead to no recommendations.

SailPoint application onboarding now includes a user interface that allows for real-time self-management of the AI recommendations produced during the Correlation Mapping and Create Account processes. Administrators can adjust the default threshold levels according to the unique data characteristics present in an organization’s environment to influence the generation of AI recommendations to suit organizational requirements or business needs.

More insights for better provisioning

Finally, identity security administrators can now calculate sync rate percentages and preview the results so they can choose the correct pairs for syncing and keep attributes healthy for optimized provisioning operations.

With AI-based recommendations based on best practices and smart guidance from discovery to configuration and correlation to provisioning, we’re helping enterprises solve the most time-consuming and complex challenges of application discovery, correlation mapping, configuration, creating account policies and provisioning.

Expanding our privilege story with new credential provider integrations

We’re expanding our robust PAM connectivity with a new credential provider integration for BeyondTrust Password Safe Cloud (Secrets Management). Credential provider integrations facilitate credential rotation processes initiated by access management systems for privileged accounts.

The addition of BeyondTrust Password Safe Cloud joins SailPoint’s existing credential provider integrations for AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, CyberArk Central Credential Provider (CCP), CyberArk Conjur Cloud, Delinea Secret Server Secrets Manager (both cloud and on-premises), and HashiCorp Vault (both cloud and on-premises).
