We have an important update about the Oracle Solaris connector in the Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform.
SailPoint is announcing the deprecation of the Oracle Solaris Connector, with the deprecation period starting on March 1st, 2025.
Deprecation & End-of-Life (EOL) Dates
As announced earlier in Oct 2024, effective March 1st, 2025, the Oracle Solaris Connector will enter in its deprecation period.
- During this time, existing Oracle Solaris sources will continue functioning as expected, but no new enhancements, bug fixes, or support will be provided.
- Customers will not be able to create new sources in ISC for Oracle Solaris
- The End-of-Life (EOL) date for the Oracle Solaris Connector is January 1, 2026, at which point all existing sources utilizing this connector will cease to operate.

How It Impacts You
If you currently have active sources configured with the Oracle Solaris Connector, there will be no immediate impact. Your sources will continue to operate as they do today until the EOL date in Jan 2026.
However, the option to configure new Oracle Solaris sources in the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud will be removed starting March 1st, 2025
