Identity security best practices tell us that the first step to securing enterprise environments is to secure access to the applications employees, contractors and others use every day. Since we introduced application onboarding in June, SailPoint’s AI-powered approach to help organizations efficiently manage the entire enterprise application lifecycle has helped our customers:

• Automatically discover ungoverned applications using Okta for SSO or via manual bulk upload such as from a CSV file;
• Easily choose connectivity sources from smart, logics-based recommendations; and
• Quickly configure and correlate accounts to identities using automated, AI-driven correlation mapping and test before deploying.

These new capabilities are helping our customers jumpstart identity security initiatives and realize faster time-to-value.

Available now: New, AI-powered functionality for faster onboarding

We recently introduced new functionality for SailPoint application onboarding at Navigate 2024, with capabilities that lean much more into AI to help customers achieve even quicker time-to-value. New features include:

• Ability to quickly create and provision accounts: This is where we’re kicking AI usage into high gear with automated, AI-driven account provisioning recommendations for creating accounts and attributes, and best practice identity security recommendations that deliver deeper and more accurate governance results
• AI recommendations for delimited file sources: Get correlation mapping recommendations for delimited file sources that are connecting to unknown systems
• In-app feedback: Feedback directly from the UI to improves the quality of AI recommendations
• Easily associate applications to sources: Quickly identify onboarded vs. non-onboarded applications
• Detailed activity notifications for application discovery and AI recommendations: Get email notifications when an activity is completed, like when new applications are discovered or when correlation mapping recommendations are generated

All are designed to help customers not only onboard applications faster via more targeted recommendations, but also deliver the kind of stellar user experience that keeps propelling your identity security initiatives forward.

NEW! Application onboarding is now FedRAMP-authorized

SailPoint has FedRAMP Moderate ATO (Authority to Operate) for SaaS-based SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and included solutions.

Our FedRAMP-authorized SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is a SaaS-based solution that provides the foundation for zero trust, as well as delivers visibility and control over access to applications, systems, and sensitive data.

SailPoint application onboarding, as part of Identity Security Cloud Business and Business Plus, is now included among those FedRAMP-covered products.
