SailPoint Customers!
We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our brand-new certification at SailPoint, the Identity Security Administrator certification. We are targeting late Q4 2025 to early Q1 2026 for the release of this exam.
If you are an Identity Security Administrator, have performed the role in the past, or currently manage someone that does, we would love for you to participate in this item writing project. “Items” is another way to say certification exam questions.
The overall time commitment for this project is ~40 hours over approximately 4 months. All work will be done remotely, and most of it is asynchronous, though there are some required live sessions to attend. For your volunteering efforts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will receive the brand-new SailPoint Identity Security Administrator Certification once it is live. This is contingent upon you being a qualified SME (authoring accepted items and giving quality feedback to peers) and fully participating in all required work (approximately 40 hours over 4 months).
Because this is a brand-new certification, we require that the SMEs that help develop this certification are intimately familiar with the Identity Security Administrator role. Thus, we require that all SMEs are currently Identity Security Administrators in their job role. Having performed the job role in the past or managing people that do would also count.
Here is a table that describes the scope of work for this project in more detail:
If you are a SailPoint Customer, a qualified SME, and are interested in participating in this project, please fill out this survey* by Wednesday, February 12. If your profile matches our criteria , we will contact you shortly after with the next steps.
*Be sure to select the Identity Security Administrator option in the survey (Question 7).
