Capturing a HTTP archive (HAR) file for support

HAR files can be valuable when diagnosing issues experienced within a browser. Sending these files to SailPoint Support can assist with timely troubleshooting and issue resolution.

However, HAR files that have not been sanitized contain sensitive data including cookies/authentication tokens that would allow others to impersonate the account used when capturing the HAR file. Therefore all sensitive information must be redacted from any HAR file before it is sent to SailPoint Support.

SailPoint Support requires all HAR files be sanitized before submission on a Support case.

For steps on capturing and sanitizing HAR files before sending to SailPoint Support, please see How do I collect a HAR file for SailPoint Support? from our Support Articles knowledge base.

Chrome has the BEST browser deve tools out there, this is also very helpful:

This article will walk you through generating a HAR on all browsers.

Generating HAR files and analyzing web requests - Atlassian Documentation

This tool will allow you to view the HAR file with Content if you do not have an application that will open one.

HAR Analyzer

In my Chrome, Version 104.0.5112.102 (Official Build) (64-bit), the HAR export function is a down-arrow a bit to the right of Disable Cache.
