Getting underway with IdentityIQ

 

Introduction

This page is meant to be used as a guide and toolkit to help customers prepare to engage with their chosen implementation partner and for the planning and installing IdentityIQ.

 

High level pre-implementation tasks (do this first)

These are important SailPoint IdentityIQ specific tasks that should be completed prior to implementation kickoff.

  1. Take free IdentityIQ Basic Training on Compass:
  2. Sign up for a SailPoint hosted Fundamentals training class (optional but recommended)
  3. Fill out the IdentityIQ pre-deployment questionnaire
  4. Understand your hardware needs and start procurement process if necessary.
  5. Attend Fundamentals Training class (take just prior to kick-off before the requirements gathering phase)

 

Training

It is very important that the team implementing IdentityIQ, technical and business users, even the managers and project managers overseeing IdentityIQ teams, have a good understanding of IdentityIQ. This makes the design and planning phase much smoother and gives you a head start on some of the knowledge necessary to make your implementation a success.

Scale and architecture

What is included in my SailPoint support?

Standard Customer Support is available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Premium Customer Support is available 24x7 for Severity 1 cases, and normal business hours for all others. See the Software support guide for fuller details about SailPoint Support.
