Reporting Database

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with creating a reporting database? I know IIQ is not a reporting solution, and the recommendation is to have an ETL process and a separate database for reporting. I am hoping someone might have some insight.

Hello - 

While we do not use nor have a separate DB for reporting and found the reports available severely lacking, I've created DB queries I use to obtain data for common situations/issues/questions that come up within the organization.

Some of these I hope to automate when I get free cycles to do so.

So, not exactly what you're seeking but just wanted to reply and share my experience.
