SailPoint’s strategic partnership with Imprivata includes a new integration between SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Imprivata EAM that combines SailPoint’s enterprise identity security capabilities with EAM to deliver role-based provisioning to essential applications from SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Day One SSO access via Imprivata EAM.

This integration makes it possible for organizations to manage and certify access for EAM users, user policies, and applications—all from SailPoint Identity Security Cloud—including the ability to:

• Automatically provision and deprovision users
• Apply unified access governance to joiner, mover, and leaver processes
• Perform AI-driven certifications and detect risky outliers
• Build roles, authenticate user access, and automate access management for all internal identities, 
• Confirm that users have the right access and review access history
• Ensure that authorization policies are enforced

Integration details

This integration enables Imprivata EAM authentication directly from Identity Security Cloud so organizations can:

• Assign EAM user policies: Control access levels and permissions based on users/roles
• Conduct access certifications and role modeling within SailPoint using EAM data: Acknowledge or revoke user policy and application for different roles.
• Provision proximity cards (badge access cards) & PINs from SailPoint to Imprivata EAM: Add, update, and delete the assignment of user proximity cards and add or update user PINs.
