New Connectivity for Atlassian Data Center

The Challenge

Support ended for Atlassian Server in February 2024 and Atlassian has recommended that customers migrate to either Atlassian Cloud or Atlassian Data Center. You can read more about Atlassian's announcement here.

SailPoint deprecated the connectors associated with Atlassian Server In response to this decision; however, our customers still needed connectivity for satisfy user access governance and service request management for Atlassian Data Center products. 

New integrations to support Atlassian Data Center

Our new SailPoint Atlassian Data Center integrations provide comprehensive user access management and the capability to create service requests in Data Center Jira Service Management from SailPoint IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud. 

Key connector features

The Atlassian Data Center Accounts Connector supports deep governance for Data Center users and their respective accesses for:

  • Atlassian Jira Service Management: 5.15
  • Jira Software Server: 9.15.0

Atlassian Data Center Jira Service Management SDIM: Key Features

The Service Desk Integration Module (SDIM) for Atlassian Data Center Jira service management is designed to enable support for IT service management for automating common business processes for requesting and fulfilling service requests

Availability & Documentation

The Atlassian Data Center Connector and SDIM are available now for Identity Security Cloud and will be part of Identity IQ patch 8.3p4, 8.4p2, 8.5 and all future versions.
