Our connectivity focus for Q2

Our Q2 connectivity focus centered around the introduction of SailPoint® application onboarding -- a new capability for Identity Security Cloud that uses AI and automation to quickly onboard and secure enterprise applications.

We’ve also continued our focus on SAP to help our customers secure access to key SAP applications as they make the move to S/4 HANA; our expansion of Identity Security Cloud SaaS connectivity for key customer cloud applications with the introduction of 27 new SaaS connectors; the development of deeper vertical connectivity for the property & casualty industry with three new Guidewire integrations; and the introduction of two new credential provider integrations for AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault on-premises.

We also introduced single-source configuration for SailPoint Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) and Activity Insights use cases. Lastly, we recently released SailPoint multi-host for Identity Security Cloud, which enables bulk onboarding and security of Microsoft SQL Servers and Oracle servers

Details: New connectivity

  • SailPoint application onboarding: This smart new capability for Identity Security Cloud Business and Business Plus customers uses automation and AI to speed application discovery, connection, and suggest configuration options for faster time-to-value and more secure risk footprints from the start of the identity security journey.
  • Expanded SAP connectivity: The new SAP Ariba integration is part of an ongoing strategic initiative to secure SAP cloud and on-premises applications and support our customers as they make the move to S/4HANA. This integration lets SailPoint Identity Security Cloud customers effectively manage access and entitlements and enable full governance for SAP Ariba and enables customer-specific use cases that leverage SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) and supplemental API support.
  • Identity Security Cloud SaaS connectivity: SailPoint is committed to eliminating the requirement of a VA and to helping our customers more quickly connect and secure access to the key cloud applications they use every day. We introduced new SaaS connectivity for an additional 27 applications in Q2, including Amazon Web Services, Atlassian Cloud, BeyondTrust Password Safe, Box, BMC Remedy and Helix, Coupa, CyberArk Privilege Cloud Shared Services, Dropbox, Duo, G Suite (Google Workspace), Go To Meeting, Okta, Oracle EPM, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Fusion, Oracle HCM Cloud Accounts, SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP SuccessFactors LMS, Slack, UKG Pro Core HCM, WebEx, Workday Accounts, Zendesk and Zoom.
  • Deeper vertical connectivity for Guidewire: We’ve added to the PolicyCenter integration for Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud that we introduced in Q1 with three additional Guidewire modules: Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, and Guidewire ContactManager. Each module integration delivers secure connectivity and deep governance capabilities for users, including aggregation and user account lifecycle management, and management of entitlements (Group, Role, and Underwriting Authority Profile) for accounts.
  • New credential provider integrations: We’re continuing our expansion in this area with credential provider integrations for HashiCorp Vault On-Premises and AWS Secrets Manager. These join HashiCorp Vault (cloud) and CyberArk Shared Services ConjurCloud and all eliminate the need to manually cycle connector service account credentials in Identity Security Cloud and help reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
  • Unified connector for single-source configuration: Customers can now use a unified connector with a single set of credentials for SailPoint CIEM and Activity Insights. This new approach eliminates separate connectors, reduces maintenance tasks and helps customers save time during source configuration.
  • SailPoint multi-host: SailPoint multi-host for Identity Security Cloud allows for easy bulk onboarding of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle servers.  A single user  interface makes it easy to implement critical source-level settings for aggregation, correlation, account schema, and more.

SailPoint’s Connectivity Engineering team also made considerable enhancements to current connectivity in Q2, which represent a wide variety of customer requests for both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityIQ. These included enhancements to our SAP GRC, Microsoft Entra ID and Workday integrations, among others.
